FBA-23 battery case

The battery case FBA-23 for the VXA-710/700 can be used to operate the radio with non-rechargable alkaline batteries instead of the supplied rechargable battery. It uses 2 AA batteries. The main advantage is that non-rechargable batteries hold their charge much longer during long-term storage. If you use the radio only occasionally, e.g. as an emergency back-up, using the FBA-23 may be advantageous.
