Single hand operation is one of the key feature of the Icom IC-A24E airband transceiver. Large, well-labelled keys and a big display make operations easy - even at night thanks to background lighting. The ten last-used channels are automatically stored. The DVOR mode shows bearing to or from a VOR, the CDI mode shows deviation from a radial.
German permit number D-0010/2005 of the DFS as a ground radio station for air traffic.
